Refund & Buyer Protection Policy

Eligibility
Refunds are available for items that are: (a) not delivered within 30 days of payment, (b) materially not as described (counterfeit, wrong item, damaged in transit), or (c) lost by the carrier. Auction wins are final for buyer's remorse — please bid responsibly.
Breaks, Rips & Random-Chance Live Opens
By buying into a live break, PYT (pick-your-team), random team, or any "rip & ship" live open, you agree that the outcome of the rip is the product. Once the seller opens packs, slabs, or boxes that include your slot, the cards pulled are yours regardless of pull value — there is no refund for a "bad pull", "low-value hit", or buyer's remorse. Slots are non-refundable once the break has started. If the seller cancels the break before it begins, slots are fully refunded automatically. Sellers must disclose the format, total slots, odds, and contents before opening — misrepresenting any of those is grounds for a full refund and account action.
Marketplace Fees
RipVault's marketplace fee is 6% on HD (1080p) live sales and 9% on 4K (UHD) Premium live sales, plus standard Stripe payment-processing fees. Refunds reverse the buyer charge in full; marketplace fees are returned to the seller's ledger when a refund is issued so sellers are never out-of-pocket for fees on refunded sales.
How to Request a Refund
Open the order in Orders → tap "Request refund" within 7 days of delivery. Provide a brief reason and photos for damaged or wrong-item claims. The seller has 3 business days to respond.
Resolution
If the seller agrees, the refund is processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. If the seller disputes, RipVault's support team mediates and issues a binding decision.
Buyer Protection Guarantee
Funds are held in escrow until the buyer confirms delivery or the 7-day window expires. If anything goes wrong during that window, you're covered.
Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us before filing a chargeback — most disputes are resolved within 48 hours and chargebacks may result in account restrictions.
